You may have met Sharrie, Maximo and Tatiana at the club. If not, you could always get a peek into their personalities through our interview “Meet the Zaffts - and their Zest!”.
That interview was published in October 2017. Sharrie had said that she would like to make a Veterans world team… fast forward a year, she did.
And not only did she make the team, she even brought home hardware - a SILVER MEDAL!
She was a little nervous prior to the competition, but came out admitting that it had been a wonderful and beautiful experience. She made the team, fenced, scored, and finished with a silver medal to commemorate the day - it couldn't have been better.
We are still basking in the joy of it all. Congratulations, Sharrie and Michael. We are beyond proud of you!
