Build Confidence, Skills, and Competitive Readiness

This Intermediate Training Clinic is designed for Youth Intermediate (YI) & Youth Advanced (YA) fencers, as well as those looking to gain more experience in preparation for local competitions. Under the guidance of MFA’s expert coaches, participants will focus on refining their technique, improving bout strategy, and developing a deeper understanding of the sport.

Clinic Focus Areas

  • Technical Development – Enhance footwork, blade control, and precision.

  • Strategic Thinking – Improve timing, distance control, and bout decision-making.

  • Supervised Bouting – Apply skills in structured drills and controlled match scenarios.

  • Equipment Knowledge – Learn essential maintenance and repair skills.

This clinic is designed to help fencers gain confidence, refine their technique, and develop a stronger competitive foundation—all while enjoying a supportive and engaging training experience.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation policy before registering:

  • Cancellations made by June 30th (three weeks before the clinic start date) will receive a full refund minus a $100 administrative fee.

  • Cancellations made by July 14th (one week before the clinic start date) are non-refundable, but 50% of the payment may be applied to a future clinic.

  • Missed clinic days for any reason are non-refundable, no exceptions.
